ādho ādho bol lāje-bādho-bādho bol
ba’lo kāne kāne|
ye kathāṭi ādho rāte mane lāgāẏ dol
ba’lo kāne kāne||
ye kathār kali sakhi ājao phuṭil nā, hāẏ
śharme maram-pāte dole ānmanā, hāẏ
ye kathāṭi ḍheke rākhe buker ām̐chal
ba’lo kāne kāne||
ye kathā lukāẏe thāke lāj-nat chokhe
nā balite ye kathāṭi jānājāni loke
ye kathāṭi dha’re rākhe adhrer kol
lukiẏe ba’lo nirālāẏ thāmile kalrol|
ye kathāṭi balite chāo beśhabhūṣhār chhale
ye kathā deẏ ba’le tab tanu pale pale
ye kathāṭi balite sa̮i gāle par̤e ṭol –
ba’lo kāne kāne||
