Again tonight
I stay awake all alone in this silent night
Like myself, two birds spend another sleepless night
You gave your word that you would come back
As the moon keeps drifting alone the edge of the sky
My wandering mind kept thinking of your promise
One by one those stars began fading out
I kept looking for you in the morning mist
My anticipation, like a blurry delusion in the middle of the night melted in the bright daylight like a deceit
