nāmaṭāo bale phelo
balte yadi nā-o chāo dāonā likhe,
kautuhal niẏe cheẏe āchhi tomār dike
etakṣhaṇ eksāthe āmrā du’jan
bujhi ni din theke rāt hal kakhan|
dāo nā bale parichaẏ, nā janalei naẏ
ekhana̮i ye yete habe āmāke,
ki hal hāsachh ken
